A few weeks ago we had an outstanding experience dining at Restaurante OSA in Madrid. Five hours of enjoyment, discovery, and experience, where all five senses were involved, adding to them the sense of humour and the power to recall memories through what you are eating and drinking.

Osteria Giorgione da Masa, in Venice, is definitely the best Japanese restaurant I’ve been in outside of Japan. You won’t find sushi here, but a wonderful display of fermented and marinated pickles, veggies and fish. Some of the delicacies pictured: crudo di ricciola affumicata, gamberi con yuzukoshō
